With over two decades of experience in the industry, he has established a reputation for delivering exceptional results and has helped to grow Goldberg Construction into a thriving business.

Mr. Goldberg commenced his building career in South Africa in 2001 and honed his skills over several years before moving to Australia in 2008. There, he furthered his education and obtained additional qualifications, further enhancing his expertise in the field. With 35 active client sites and a robust development pipeline valued at approximately $50 million, he has proven himself to be a highly successful and effective leader.

Tell us about your background and how it shaped your career?

I have been in the construction industry since 2001 and have progressed from smaller simpler projects to more complex luxury developments. Being in construction has allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of materials, engineering and project management skills. This has allowed me to have a better understanding moving into my own developments in order to manage the project from start to finish, having a more practical approach that isn’t just aesthetically pleasing but also durable and be better equipped to navigate any challenges that may arise.

What aspects of the real estate and construction business do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy seeing the construction process transform a vacant block of land into a beautiful home. Seeing all the hard work, dedication and attention to detail reflected in the final product is one of the most rewarding feelings.

I am constantly keeping an eye on the market trends and housing demand to find my next potential development site that I can transform into a home that my buyer can create memories in. Personally, I believe it is important to be aware of the market condition so I can adapt and make changes to my designs, materials and finishes to meet the demands of potential buyers.

What sets you apart from other builders?

What sets me apart from other builders is my attention to detail, my desire to create unique projects and overall delivering a high quality home that meets my clients expectations.  I believe it is important to build strong relationships with my clients so we can work collaboratively as a team. During the construction process, my mantra is-  I do not see problems, only solutions to any issue that may arise.

What core values drive your decision making?

My core values of honesty, commitment, ambition and determination play a vital role in my decision making process. I find these core values are fundamental in driving my decision making and ensuring that the project is completed successfully.

Honesty is important in all aspects of the building process – from pricing to quality of work, as it builds trust and credibility with my clients.

Commitment is essential in ensuring that the project is completed on time and to the satisfaction of the client.

Ambition and determination are the drivers to constantly improve my skills and innovate new designs and building methods.
